Mother to two kids, both who were fathered by Johnny, Vanessa Paradis romantically describes motherhood as ”the greatest love story” and continues to say:“I love being a mother. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid, but it was never as wonderful as it is for real. It’s so beautiful. And yes, obviously, when you put yourself second, it has to make you a little less selfish.”

Everything’s got a price to pay. You could lose your head or your mind. And you do but. it’s either that or your stay in one place. I wouldn’t like to always be in the same place. To have the same everything. I like to move, stay for a few months, and make a life in a place. Home is pretty much where the people you love most are. You know, I can feel at home in a lot of different places.”

Vanessa Paradis believes that traveling a lot is good for her children’s education because they see the world first hand: “It’s great for education – lots of different habits and cultures and languages and visual surroundings. And it fills you. It makes you who you are. I hope it makes them a little more open. Hopefully, a little bit better.”

French actress Vanessa Paradis doesn't worry about showing the effects of ageing because Vanessa Paradis believes achievements are more important than appearance. "What do you wanna do? You can pull what you're gonna pull. But it's always going to be there - the age and the lack of limberness. It's not about that. Vanessa Paradis (who is now best known as the mother of Johnny Depp’s children) announced her first shows ever performed in the US. The first of her two dates was February 16, 2010 at Town Hall in New York. The second takes place in a few days in Los Angeles. The night started off on a disappointing note for me as Vanessa Paradis arrived to her first ever concert in this country with her head down and didn’t look up or acknowledge fans as Vanessa Paradis entered the building. More on her exit in a few moments. As hard as that is to get over for someone like me who not only goes to a concert to see a performance but is also very curious as to how the stars treat their fans, I’ve liked her music for too long to let that get the best of me.

I am not familiar with all of her music, but off her self-titled album, Vanessa Paradis played “Sunday Mondays” and “Be My Baby” (my favorite track off that record) with totally different arrangements. Vanessa Paradis also performed covers of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Sam Cooke’s “What A Wonderful World.” Other notable songs were “Joe Le Taxi,” “Marilyn and John,” “Maxou,” ”Dis Lui Toi Que Je T’aime” and ”Tandem,” which were both written by Serge Gainsbourg.
