Drew Barrymore ombre hairstyle. So long, ombré hair! Drew Barrymore recently ditched her two-tone locks, opting for a warm, uniform auburn shade that she debuted at a book launch party in West Hollywood on Wednesday night. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the actress with just one hair color: in September of 2009, she worked light blonde hair with black tips while promoting her film Whip It, then moved on to practically a reverse color scheme, sporting darker roots with lighter ends, a look she owned for quite some time. Barrymore’s literally rocked every hair color under the sun, but with this new hue, she returns to a glam look we saw (and loved!) in 2007 and 2008. The actress has been spotted smooching new beau Will Kopelman all around Los Angeles lately — could the new look have to do with a new love? Tell us: What do you think of Barrymore’s new hair hue? –Kate HoganDrew Barrymore Hairstyle 18
In the nearly three years he’s worked with Drew Barrymore, hairstylist Giannandrea has taken tresses to new heights (think ‘60s-inspired bouffants) and made bedhead look chic (see photo at left, from last week’s London premiere of Going the Distance). “She is like a chameleon, constantly evolving,” says the Italian coiffeur of his muse. Barrymore had some seriously stunning hair at her Going the Distance premiere! I can’t stop staring at Drew Barrymore‘s amazing hair at the Los Angeles premiere for her new flick, Going the Distance on Aug. 23. Drew’s use of the classic Brigitte Bardot bump is so stunning. Notice how she just simply center-parted her hair and teased the crown of her head right behind her part. It’s so simple but makes a big impact. The retro vibe screams sex kitten. I love that Drew gives it a modern twist with her darker-on-top, lighter-on-bottom locks. What do you think of Drew’s premiere hair? Do you love it as much as I do?Drew Barrymore Hairstyle 20
Drew Barrymore wore her hair very simply at the new film premiere, with it all swept back from her face in a tight pony tail, looking glossy and shiny. The ponytail itself was flicked out at the ends to give a slightly different look that added a little bit more excitement and the hair band was neatly covered using an old trick that is sweeping the hair around the band to make the look much neater. With a bandeau style dress it may have been a better idea for Drew to have worn her hair down in an elegant down style but the look that she has managed to look just right and with more complex makeup meant that it was neither too much or too little in the style stakes.Drew Barrymore Hairstyle 21
Barrymore is a chameleon of color and styles, and she can completely transform her look from day to day. Looking through the pictures below, Drew’s hair has been almost every color under the sun and each cut and style correlates with her whimsical personality. She’s done soft and wavy, sleek and straight; gone voluminous, pin-up and tried the pixie cut; she’s had Rapunzel-like extensions and rocked the classic bob. Drew is often a blonde, but in varying shades and sometimes even with gradient colored locks from brown at the roots to platinum at the ends. During a more experimental phase, she once had the ends of her blonde hair dipped into black dye, creating a contrasting two-toned look. The colors have ranged from Joan Jett black, chestnut brown, platinum blonde and strawberry blonde, to her now current shade of a deep reddish auburn.Drew Barrymore Hairstyle 22
